The Broken Pieces
Preface
This book tells of my heartbreak as a young girl and my mother’s heartbreak as an adult. It depicts a story of deception, dishonor, and hurt. Finally, you will see that even in the dark, my dim light still shines. Even in the face of adversity, I now experience triumph over what tried to dim and put my light out completely. Through God, I have been able to pick up ‘The Broken Pieces.'

I don’t take for granted anything I have been through in the past or will go through in the future, nor do I think that I have done anything of my own ability and strength. God allowed me to be born to a strong young woman who had more courage than she ever knew or was able to acknowledge. I was born to a young woman who was an inspiration to many that crossed her path. However, she would never come to the full fruition of the person God called her to be. She was a woman full of knowledge, gumption, and wit.

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], and before you were born, I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 AMP
